OH thats nasty.
DEIMOS-LUX PATTERN PSYCANNON looks kickass. That would munch through my warriors easily. And it’s mounted on Landraiders and dreads, I’d not be able to stop that.
Too bad they’re still listed as Experimental =\
yeah, great items but certainly for dreads and land raiders id rather not use those and keep them legal in places that dont allow me to use those, I may get one of the Inquisitors though as Im not that fussed about the codex inquisitors and the model for Rex looks really nice 🙂
I don’t get the last part of the post. Surely if you have assault cannons and give the vehicle Psybolt Ammunition they have the same effective profile as Psycannons, so why does it cost 20pts to upgrade a Land Raider Crusader cost 20pts and not just the 5pts for Psybolt.
The Dreadnought’s point cost is also a lil off. I like the heavy bolter upgrade. Will forgeworld be offering a Psycannon upgrade set for the Thunderhawks?
Well maybe they will see that and just make it so you don’t need to worry about for those vehicles, or just add that they can only fire the heavy profile, if on a vehicle.
You have to wonder, with FW doing psycannon bits for practically every marine vehicle, why wasn’t the option in the codex? I mean you could use them to represent psybolt heavy bolters but its not the same is it? Its just like the warrior acolytes aren’t quite storm troopers, Arbites or battle sisters even after you give them all the upgrades to match, it just seems like Matt Ward just… forgot.
