Jasco Games Releasing Cowboy Bebop Board Game In August
July 18, 2019 by brennon
Jasco Games have dropped some more details for Cowboy Bebop Board Game Boogie which is hitting tabletops at the start of August as Gen Con hits.
This stylish anime universe invites you to play as your favourite members of the Bebop crew who are looking to head off into space and see what adventure unfolds. You will be travelling the Solar System gathering leads, stocking up on goodies and working towards finishing your personal 'sessions'. Once you've managed to put the past to rest everyone wins!
You can see a bit of a breakdown concerning gameplay here...
This sounds like it could be a lot of fun. It has echoes of games like Firefly and Merchants & Marauders about it where you're heading off on interesting journeys and following a story which unfolds at each encounter.
You can still pre-order the game and pick it up at Gen Con. So, if you're heading to that convention in America you might be able to snag the game for yourself ahead of others.
Will you be giving this a closer look?

Never heard of bebop before an just watched the first episode if the games like the show it’s looking great.
Cowboy bebop is my favourite show of all time but I think Star Wars outer rim has a more interesting bounty hunter game system. Actually having a universe to travel across rather than 5 sets of bars, spaceports etc to match up would have been better.
Would buy the game for the Boxart alone.
Looks too abstract for my taste though.
Verrry abstract. I scrolled down and nothing about the game or components screamed ‘Cowboy Beebop’ at me – all seemed kinda generic.
