Perry Miniatures Reinforce The English For Agincourt
April 17, 2014 by brennon
Perry Miniatures are going to the battlefield of Agincourt soon with a big new plastic kit. Showing off some of the miniatures you'll be able to make from the kit they posted up a pair of larger scale prototypes...
Above you can see both the Men-At-Arms and the Archers that will form both the basis of your infantry heavy force and the support coming in from the back lines. The English Longbowman was a soldier to be feared and the tally of French dead they reaped was pretty damn high.
It's going to be awesome seeing this army set come together. No doubt like with other Perry Miniatures sets you're going to get buckets of miniatures to play with too.
Is this a period you're interested in?
I’ve picked up several boxes of their medieval infantry and cavalry, and the quality is superb. Can’t wait for this latest addition!
every model the make are pure miniature magic. the know the uniforms and the posing is fantastic. i am a fan and i find that the only reasonable position. the armoured men at arms on foot will be released in august and that will still my hunger for fantastic minis while
i wait for these.
600th anniversary of Agincourt next year so these are quite timely. As an archer and Longbowmen myself I’ll be looking at ways to celebrate the day in traditional manner (hopefully not catching dysentery).
I have heard some bowmen will be marching from Harfleur to Agincourt.
Fantastic models. Perfect to go along with Lion Rampant.
‘our King went forth to Normandy, with grace and might of chivalry…’ looking good! would absolutely love to do the fight for the bastion at the Siege of Orleans, the new kits coming out from Tabletop Workshop plus the fantastic Perry mini’s…
Perry miniatures are classy, I always buy some at Salute and say hi to them. They are legends.
I think it kinda shows that great miniatures can be made and bought at a reasonable price
