Harness The Power Of A God In Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound
July 16, 2019 by brennon
Cubicle 7 continued their previews of the different Archetypes you can play as in Age Of Sigmar: Soulbound with a look at the Knight-Incantors who serve the God-King Sigmar.
The Knight-Incantors are those who harness the power of the storm and Sigmar himself in order to work powerful magics, either tearing the enemies apart with lighting or using it to support their fellow brothers and sisters in arms. Their most important role, however, is in soothing and tempering the souls of those Stormcast Eternal who go through the Reforging process, a powerful ritual which gifts immortality but at the cost of a warrior's sanity and personality.
The Knight-Incantors, therefore, scour libraries, hidden ruins and lost realms in the search for answers as to how to perfect and refine the Reforging process. Maybe this is the reason why your Knight-Incantor has decided to join your group of adventurers?
I love the idea of playing a heavily armoured mage who has a thirst for knowledge and an understanding of the mystical but also knows their duty to a higher cause. It should lead to some interesting roleplaying moments and perhaps some unpleasant revelations.
What do you think of the Knight-Incantor as a character choice?

a great paladin.
You know, I’ve not been tempted to buy into ‘Age Of Sigmar’ yet. But this has me interested!
I’ll need to do so reading again on the system and then look deeper at the ‘Knight-Incantor’.
My interest is peaked. ??
At least this is looking more visually interesting than your usual Sigmarine, I’ll give them that.
Still don’t like the Stormcasts’ overpowered super-human religious fluff at all though.
