My favourite ACW Rule system, the scenario books are fantastic.
You really feel like you’re laying the ACW when you play this game rather than just a re-skinned Napoleonics.
Makes me wish I didn’t sell off my armies for it but hey maybe I’ll just make new ones?
Okay, that’s @elessar2590 and @torros that have both recommended this. Why have I never heard of this? I went back around 9:00 (everyone else in the pub) and I saw some of the Battle of Cowpens in this system. The tables looked fantastic.

What a table.
They had two scenarios for Chickamauga and later one for AWI (Cowpens) and then English Civil War going as well.
I hadn’t realised they had released a 2nd edition of the brigade version. Guess it was due after 25 odd years
Might be more interested in the brigade version since I like smaller battles (AWI) than big ones.
I know, that sounds weird since I’m usually a “big battle” guy in WW2 and Moderns.

There are SOOOO many tables, @buggeroff, we have to do them all really fast to even get a sample. This con was mostly tables, as opposed to vendor booths, etc.
Love the details on the tables.
Some crazy scales too, up to 54mm in some cases.
