Ticket To Ride is an excellent mid-range board game to introduce (young and old) players to more advanced gaming than their standard household collection. It's a fantastic tool to teach draft building and resource management with a fun little twist of travel thrown in.
It's especially fun if you're preparing a bigger game later and with a small competition of victory points towards the end it's not reliant on winning, it's more fun as an experience and group game for team building.
Unless you're Justin...everyone must be eliminated.
What's your favourite spot to visit in London?

A German, a Scouser and a secret agent get on a bus and the conductor said…There is a joke in there somewhere!
I have Ticket to Ride europe, but hated that they labelled european cities in foreign language because they were too cheap to make UK edition, french edition, etc.
I like the idea…i however feel they could have made it more expansive eg more stations routes etc. It feels like a reasonably detailed map with an 8 year old drawing on top
But then the play time would probably exceed their expected 10-15 minutes which I think is the point of this smaller scale transport system.
Personally I think 10-15 minutes is too short. A slightly larger map with a 25-30 minutes play time would allow for more tactics and still be a good filler game time.
Youre probably right but if im playing a city transport game bases on a city with complicated transport im expecting more than like 15 lines.
Plus i think ticket to ride works better as a longer game. Its not one that i would play for a 15 to 20min game as theres far more games built specifically for that rather than pre existing being bent into the shape of a short game
While I’m a fan of Ticket to Ride, I’ll probably skip this one since the gameplay is too short for my tastes.
The Queen, John Lennon, Emma Peel and John Steed… I’m missing Lemmy Kilmister in this!
That looks like a fun game and I think one to add to my collection
Love the John Steed and Mary Quant characters.
great game
