GameMat.Eu’s Dank Sewers & Ruined Bunkers Coming Soon
July 2, 2019 by brennon
GameMat.Eu has been previewing more of the Fallout Zone terrain they have been working on to help create some interesting places for you to skirmish! We start off with something everyone needs on their tabletop when they're diving into the darkness beneath a city, a Sewer.
This will be one of the terrain options available in August. As with a lot of their terrain, this will be pre-painted and 'battle ready'. I think this would be fantastic for dropping into games of Necromunda in particular as your Underhive gangs get stuck into skirmishes deep down in the bowels of a city.
As a prototype, this is looking rather good, and it will be fun to see all of these painted up. Pieces like this are not only good because they have height and depth to them but they also provide you with narrative elements for your games too. You could plonk this down and say that one team has to blow this up whilst the other is working to keep it safe.
Blow Up The Bunker
As well as this Sewer we also have the piece known as the Bunker.
The Bunker is another piece for their Fallout Zone terrain range and would work very well as the last bastion of defence in a ruined landscape against oncoming foes. It might not have a roof, and one side of it is open to the elements, but you could set up your guns in there and hold out for a while at least.
You could also connect this up with the Sewer option above and have it as the pumping station which controls the flow of water in the Underhive. It might seem like a small thing, but the gap in the roof for this terrain piece makes fighting on top of it 100% more interesting. I'm sure you'll think I'm mad but it's much cooler to think you have to dive over it to strike your foe rather than just run across it.
Will you be keeping an eye out for this range in August?

Looks cool. But their sets are a bit to pricey for me. I wonder why they don’t offer a cheaper, unpainted option?
agree. my problem with prepared is nobody has the same paint scheme so you have lots of diffent coloured pieces when I do my own painting. I can make the terrain just as I want it. seems a shame to repaint but a gamer had to do what a gamer has to do.
Looks cool indeed.
great scenery for any war table.
Love the look of those sewer sections, I’d probably try to use them to create the secret lair of a Malifaux Resurrectionist.
