Oh God, I don’t even know what “scale” Darkstar would be.

Eh … 1.5″ hexes (physical map) = 180 kilometers.

39600 inches in a kilometer (approximating 3.3 feet per meter).

26,400 hexes (1.5″ hexes) per km

x180km per hex = 1:4.75 million.

That is NOT QUITE 0.0004mm, less than 4/10,000 of one millimeter, or less than 0.4 microns.

And yes, Darkstar is a tactical wargame. Once you get into operational wargames, scale isn’t even an issue.
