Sweet, really enjoyed the last hobby weekend and looking forward to attending another one.
Not to put anyone off, but I might just turn up 🙂 Obviously I’ve bought a ticket, I’ll not just turn up out of the blue 🙂
I will see you there!
As will i, sounds like an old school hobby weekender meetup in the making….
What are the chances of us controlling the Juke Box? lol
High, just call it a seminar based on your gaming and music article 😉
Oh, I’ll do a PowerPoint 🙂
If by powerpoint you mean Kai Hansen or Hansi Kürsch pointing at the crowd then i fully approve 😉
If there is a Digital Ticket in July, I´ll propably get one.
I´m not really into 40k, but it is the event that matters. ^^
Where do people stay when they visit Coleraine?
There are a range of hotels and B&Bs in the town. Premiere Inn etc for folks to stay at over the weekend.
air bnb also an option. It’s a holiday town so if you’re going book immediately or finding somewhere will be a pain in the hole
When the British open golf on?. Is that around that time
@torros Pretty sure the Open is in 3rd week of July
kicks off on the 14th
I can’t justify spending more money on 40k at the moment, but I’m happy to hobby along at home and paint some 40k during the weekend. I have plenty to paint anyway.
I’ll have to pass: cricket has me Friday and Sunday. Have a goodun all
Saw it, booked it!
Can’t wait, finally getting to bring my eldest to the home of the Beasts!
Just bad dates for me to be away from home but my son and I will push the limits of the digital ticket and stream our progress all weekend along with you.
Ooh a chainsword I wish, have fun folks will be watching the fun carnage.
Didn’t realise it was going to be so soon. I’ll pick up a digital ticket next pay day if any are still available.
Bit nervous about getting the package in time for the event though. Earliest I’ll be able to buy the ticket is the end of this month so I’m wondering will a bit over a month be enough time to ship a package all the way to Australia?
Most air freight from the UK takes only a week or two to show up this side of the world – I’m in NZ.
I’m pretty sure that most post is done via airmail these days, it is only business to business freight that goes by sea.
When I ran a hobby business air freight from Oz and the East Coast of the US took the same amount of time…. Strange that.
Thanks @hobbyhub I didn’t even think about Air vs Sea Mail
Fantastic idea with the Digital Ticket, gives us a chance to join in from home!
Dammit, my new job wants me to go to the States on the 4th and I don’t think I’ll be back in time, might try and fly from Dublin and get ther late on the Friday, just trying to find out
nice idea, the chainsword kit is a very cool prize
Whelp, I’m signed up for the ‘Digital Ticket’ as of now. I just couldn’t pass up on those swell T-Shirts and custom dice bags! Also, I’ll be taking off Friday from work so I can hobby along with my ‘Brothers from another Mother’ that weekend.
I’ll do some practicing on my live broadcast skills before that weekend so maybe I can finally show off my in-house BoW Studio. I’m planning to set my clocks for Coleraine time, (it’s just six hours difference).
I choose the ‘Militum Tempestus’ so I will finally have troops for my ‘Commissar Severina Raine’
Really looking forward to this. I’m even trying to get some other folks here locally involved as well!
@warzan how about for the digital ticket sharing the STL file for the objectives, that way it is truely something digital?
Decided to risk it and buy the ticket, I should be arriving back on the 9th from the US and my new client is Irish based so can fly into Dublin anyway. I might be a bit late on Friday or only show on the Staurday
Loving the idea of this, but not going to be able to attend either one. Me and the misses have friends coming over from America for a two week stay, and all spare pennies will be going in to that. Now if your planning on doing a Warhammer event at a later date, i`ll deferentially be up for that.
i want to join in digitally but don’t know which start collecting box to do??
They’re all great deals.
Are you leaning towards anything or just a total blank?
I’m total blank. Can’t choose. I have lots of 40k grey plastic.
Now age of sigmar I have several armies I wanna start….. But wanna join in…
Demons work in both – that is why I have sold my immune system to Papa Nurgle!
That is a very good point. Will have to go have a look at those sets.
This sounds like a funky idea!
fancied doing this, sorry to say after looking at costs have to leave.. looking at save some money for one next year.. summer holidays put the cost up … I will come to one day 🙂
Man, oh man. I really want to get to this event, but my wedding anniversary is the 8th and I don’t think I have enough Brownie points to get to N.Ireland the next day. I may very well look at a digital ticket though.
I used to collect 40k a long time ago but historical gaming took over so may look to getting some Space Marines and just starting fresh.
love to come to this, but with the wife ready to pop with number two i doubt i would get a weekend pass for it.
@warzan i know its pushing it on time but will the 2 new 40k start collecting boxes for primaris space wolves and 1000 sons be an option for the digital ticket??? as either i would get to join in.
