New Oathmark Dwarf Is Definitely Not A Damsel-In-Distress

North Star Military Figures have released more images of their dwarven miniatures to be used in their fantasy wargame Oathmark: Battles of the Lost Age.
Although I'm sure the lack of a beard will no doubt provoke debate, this female dwarven champion is intricately detailed and very dynamic. I like the dagger on her waist - you know, just in case the massive hammer wasn't enough to scare off any enemy foolish enough to take her on.
North Star have stated that there will be three champions in this upcoming pack, and the prospect of a few more female dwarven miniatures will appeal to some (sure, you can always glue a beard on!).
Keep up to date with all the latest developments through designer Joseph McCullough's blog, or just check out the latest Oathmark miniature releases through the official Facebook page.

"Intricately detailed and very dynamic!"
That looks really nice.
Dwarfs without Beard’s never.
And she has knees, ‘blasphemous”
I was always led to believe that female dwarves had beards….. ? Damn it Yogscast Simon, you lied to me. ?
A vote for the ‘no beard’ camp. If you need to be convinced, have a look at the female dwarf infantry at Atlantis Games. Scibor makes some nice models as well.
Anyway, this is a great mini, good proportions.
I am in the no beards camp but I am also in the no tapered waist camp which is making this dwarf seem off to me… a slender dwarf????
