The German set has the fewest tanks of the four starter forces but they are also the most powerful and require their own strategic play to make the most of them.
If you want to see the starter forces in action be sure to check out our recent Flames Of War boot camp where we hosted building, painting, and playing of these new sets.
Which of the big four would you buy first?
*urge to do this mentioned video intensifies*

Silly nebula throwing machines …
That is a lot of plastic.
they didn’t need the panther?! I think you’ll find they did. and remember kids while all Hanomag 251 were halftracks not all halftracks were Hanomags. Nice box, bit of a mixed bag would do well as Lehr supported by the 101st. I think I’m replete with Germans currently mind you.
Are you ill? That is twice you have said you have enough minis of certain type in the last couple of days. Can someone check on Gerry? 🙂
no I’m fine, when you reach ten to twelve times the amount of minis that can be fielded for a particular game that’s when you can throttle back on that collection.
wasn’t the Panther rushed out as the answer to the T34 which was being a bit of a pest?
you mean they saw the T-34 and went “holy shit snacks that’s amazeballs” and then they made them and they were initially balls, but lovely afterwards nomnomnomnom I <3 you Panther
lol
A nice informative video. I really love the German Tanks, they’ll be in Moscow by Christmas!!!
great set want a few of them
This looks like such a nice set. Really wanting to get this.
Great box! I want it 🙂
Thanks for the vid guys
“Beautifully overengineered” could be used to describe much of the German equipment.
Some classic looking tanks there
Great unboxing and a great kit it seems. I think this will be my way into 4th ed. But do I really have the time to paint them is the real question? Matters not, they will look great in the box on the shelf with the rest of my backlog..
