Flames Of War D-Day Boot Camp: Sunday
Cracking Open The Soviet Starter Bundle
Justin and Chris lift the lid on the Soviet Starter Bundle from Battlefront Miniatures.
For the Soviets, the answer is always “tanks”. What was the question? Doesn’t matter, it’s still tanks.
Nice box. None of that squishy infantry, and some very cool looking vehicles.
Add infantry, infantry, infantry, infantry, more infantry, more infantry, and you guessed it more infantry.
Quantity has a Quality all of its own.
Yep, Justin’s shimy syndrome in full flow 😉
These new box sets make you want to do all the Big 4. Soviets are next for me
I will watch into this after my brown water navy and my DAK.
looks good
After watching this, I think I’ve narrowed it down to needing the American, British, German and Russian starter boxes! 🙂
Another fantastic box chock full of plastic! Ugh. So torn between the Germans and soviets..
Of all the bundles currently on offer, this has me most tempted! I don’t have any Soviet forces yet, this would be a great place to start
this is so getting me back too flames of war
I would drop the T-70s for some infantry. After all, someone has to hold the ground the tanks just rolled over!
That’s a lot of tanks.
I’d add some infantry if I was taking Russians just to give some flexability
I thought the soviet box open you?
you’re too excited lol. great looking set
more tanks..
I had to watch this video again just because. It just confirmed my decision to go heavy with the Soviets next.
a great box.
Again, a massive amount of sprues!
Looking more and more like Soviets for my (first?) box. Thanks again for the videos.
nice box set
Another great looking starter.
Needs more tank riders
A very good starter bündle. To continue the Soviet journey and considering the footage with tanks rushing forward and infantry behind in long, endless lines like chickens, I´d get loads of infantry. For historical accuracy I make them mostly conscripts.
For defensive battles I´d go for a large amount of PAK to be able to form a PAK-Riegel.
That’s a whole mess of vehicles.
