Battlefront Brings Tanks To The Battle Royale

Ohhhhhh this one is going to be pretty exciting!! Chris from Battlefront Miniatures has devised a 30 minute Battle Royale mode for Flames of War.

Gerry finds out what the limits are for deployment and how long players will have to wait to respawn in. It looks as if most players from the boot camp are looking to get in on this one and I don’t blame them!

World of Tanks on tabletop huh? I sure hope the match maker will be more balanced than on the PC! And someone should bring an SPG to the fight!

These blog posts (and whole weekend) has been a real eye-opener for me. Historical wargaming always seemed like something you had to devote your life to, collecting and making everything historically accurate, then playing a single game over four months in 8-hour sessions. I love the idea of each player playing in “short bursts” with smaller armies, rather than millions of minis that never seem to move from one hour to the next. Adding in secondary victory point objectives is a nice touch too – so even if you don’t win the war, you can claim success in minor battles.… Read more »
