The Allied re-enactors get to show off their kit whilst I imagine the German re-enactors are off screen doing rude gestures.
John and Laura have put on their American uniforms to walk around the boot camp in style. Relics are also on show with a packet of cough drops from the 40s and a one-hundred-year-old BAR gun.

Very probably.It’s original use was to seal wounds ( iirc ).
Build your models and stop the bleeding at the same time! Brilliant!
Blood is an Accelerate so it’s a quick and instant way to seal cuts
Very nice touch having guys n gals there in genuine WWII uniforms. Adds a whole new dimension to the Bootcamp.
Next time maybe consider dressing Warren up as a Sargent-Major for the entire weekend, running round beasting everyone and making them work harder.

Very cool to see the medical gear, something that is all too often overlooked in the history of warfare. And, the BAR over 100 years old, matching serial numbers, and so well preserved.

It was called “Walking Fire” so you were extremely close.
Basically you would fire one shot every second step and the idea was that you could both advance and keep the enemies heads down.
The BAR was specifically designed for Walking Fire but by 1918 the tactic had been replaced by things like mutual covering fire and good old fashioned leapfrogging.The Famous Pedersen Device was meant to turn a Springfield into a Semi Auto specifically for Walking Fire and Trench Clearing.

Dr. Dave would have enjoyed this, especially Laura. He himself has a medic kit from the US 29th infantry Division and showed it off on of the episodes of FoW for the win. There is also some televisokn footage of it, if I remember correctly.
