Flames Of War D-Day Boot Camp: Saturday
Shots Fired Across The Tables!
Tanks crashing through walls. Four tank kills with four shots. And overkill of the weekend.
The demo games that folks are running have been packed with cinematic moments and impossible rolls. Some of these incredible feats are probably due a prize or two…
I’m so jealous of the tables you guys made for this event. My biggest shortcoming in Table Top Gaming is my terrain. These street fights look great.
I do dislike it when tanks are lined up with with their tracks touching.
Yeah the “car park” is not a good look on the table
Is that tank actually on the roof? Thats some mad driving skills!
great terrain
The tables look amazing! Really let’s someone get immersed in the moment and really feel like an infantryman running for his life.
I assume the Tiger and Sherman are inside the buildings, and not literally on top of them?
the floors lift off so they must be on top, otherwise they would have just removed them
That tables looks fantastic. Lucky players
German hover tanks have you slipped into Ironskys mode?
I’m gonna watch all the terrain v- logs for this event over again. I gotta improve my terrain stuff, help me beasts of war!!!
Again those table are lovely.
Looking good!
Those carpark tanks are Russian tanks, if I´m not entirely mistaken. Russian tanks had a tendency to clump together, I believe, but even for them advancing side on side with barely sheet of paper in between was uncommon.
It looks weird, but it could also be a tank troop preparing for an advance. They can spread out later, right?
How good is artillery in FoW?. As that tends to stop units clumping in other games.
Great pictures. Thanks again.
Beautiful tables but why are there Russians??
Are you sneaking in a bit of Stalingrad @dignity
you mean a chunk of filth to hurt a childs hobby? Then you’re correct
I feel like the mood lighting even makes the pictures look better.
In the main picture those enemy tanks are just a little to close to each other.
Total immersion. When you can get right down into the scenary and take eye-level shots. Brilliant detailing and weathering makes it feel so realistic.
Looks like some hard fought engagements are going on.
look out a sherman has climbed to the roof
The more I see of the tables the more impressed that I am.
