Flames Of War D-Day Boot Camp: Friday
Flames Of War D-Day Day One Draws To A Close
That’s it for Day One of the Flames of War D-Day Boot Camp. Even as we finish up, people are still feverishly hobbying to get their armies ready.
Make sure to come back tomorrow to see how the Boot Campers get on in their games of Flames of War, and remember to leave a comment for your chance to win one of three Flames of War Bundles.
Loved the coverage of Day 1,i look forward to Day 2 and 3 with much excitement and anticipation.
This is pretty exciting. Couldn’t follow live, but I’m catching up with the day’s activities now. Really cool concept guys, appreciate it.
Don’t you ever bring the pub to you for these weekends? Do a quick off licence run for everyone and stock up on beer and pretzels?
Being following Day 1, but working in the morning and the in-laws arrive for a visit, so will have to catch-up on day 2. Mind you on Sunday I’m at Broadside in Sittingbourne helping run the club participation game, so will have to catch-up on Day 3 as well.
Argh I’m trying to get my bolt action finished and am now dragging out my old unfinished late war fow Americans. Going to be a summer of Normandy for sure. Looking forward to tomorrow’s update. Nice one guys

Many thanks. I think one of them joined today. I’d love to get the game back on its feet again.
Thanks for all the great Day 1 coverage. Looking forward to following Days 2 and 3.
So are the youngbloods able to go to the pub? They don’t look old enough, I know the UK drinking age is lower than here in the USA but they still look too young.
no they had to stand outside in the rain while the others drank 😉
Really wish I could have made this one.
Lucky! I’m a teacher who’s still in school… But at least I can catch the weekend activities.
@warzan good luck with late night hobbying.
