Chris draws on his favourite WWII movies, such as A Bridge Too Far, for his motivation, and turns to the pages of Colours of War for some tips on creating an army he can be proud of.

Some good reference photos, I always like to have at least some stowage on my tanks, not a full gypsy caravan, with stuff hanging off everywhere but a bit to make it feel like it’s not just come off the production line.
Have a Cromwell platoon sat waiting to paint from last year….. might leave them till the British book arrives…. time to squeeze in some Yankees! 🙂

Its always interesting how films influence wargamers. Band of Brothers had a big influence on my bolt action US paratroopers.
