Pick Up 28mm WWI Style Tanks From Urban Construct

Urban Construct have a pair of World War I tanks up on their webstore for both the British and the Germans. See what you think of these somewhat funky looking tanks that could well be useful in Weird World War gaming...
The first of the tanks above is the British one and certainly the better of the bunch. I like this old design and it of course reminds me a lot of the look we have in Warhammer 40,000 vehicles for the Imperium. I think if you kitted this out with a few odds and ends you could make it into a very neat looking Weird World War vehicle.
This German tank is a little bit more of a miss for me although I think it might just be the paint job that's been done on the model. Not too bad of course and with a bit of a tweak here and there it would certainly be a good opponent for the British one.
Once again I think that while they are worked into the World War I theme I think they would be perfect for Weird World War or indeed as terrain pieces.
What do you think?
Think you’d be better off blaming Joseph Vollmer for the design of the German A7V 😉 both look like great kits 🙂
I’m known to love all of wacky looking tanks, but the A7V is ugly even to me.
The British tank was classed as male females had the machineguns’ and the early models had wheels at the rear for crossing trenches.
The German tank was a rushed answer to the British Mk 1 I think.
