Bushido Go Take Their Pilgrimage to Salute
April 2, 2014 by dracs
Bushido will once again be in attendance at this year's Salute and will be bringing with them a special on-the-day release. Behold The Grey Pilgrim!
The Grey Pilgrim can join either the Temple of Ro-Kan or the Prefecture of Ryu, making her a handy and flexible addition to your Bushido collection.
She is not alone though, as outside of Salute Bushido will also be getting the fearsome Oni Beast Handler named Yoshi.
Sorry, I mean Yusha
We previously got to see the concept art for this guy, and if anything I think that the finished model looks even more brutal.
Anyone who buys from GCT Studios either at Salute or in their online store for the next while will receive a free coloured reference sheet, helping you to get a hand on your Bushido games.
These cheat sheets are really handy when it comes to keeping track of everything in a game so the inclusion of one means that this could be a good time to get into a very interesting game.
Are you heading to Salute? Will you be stopping by the Bushido stall while you are there?

Yushi is awesome. I’ll be very happy when I own that model.
I don’t like the Grey Pilgrim though. Not at all. The face is distorted, the weapon looks clumsy at best, and she is showing a ton of side boob for really no good reason.
It looks very little like the picture, which is a shame because if you had shown me the concept art first I would have been excited. But the finished result is disappointing.
They will be getting some of my hard earned. Not so sure about the Grey Pilgrim though her facial expression puts me in mind of a blow up doll. Hopefully it’s the picture and looks better in a different light.
Yeah, it is just strange looking. GCT doesn’t misfire very often but it does happen from time to time.
Looks like I’ll also be adding some green stuff around the chest with this one as well. The picture has her dressed like a normal person so I’m not sure who OK’d the cleavage.
The model actually represents real life in a way, the models face is rather ugly, so she distracts you from that by showing you her chest.
When this game came out it was a breath of fresh air and models looked stellar. Today not so. I understand that over time top sculptors can move on to other projects but I would have thought that if that was the case they would get able artists to replace them. The stuff we see released often never matches the look, feel or energy that we see in the concept art. Based on the artwork I get myself interested thinking this will be a cool model to only be let down by the model itself. I really hope they get… Read more »
Only bad thing about The Grey Pilgrim is that her face dosen’t look so good and it looks much better in art than in model. Other than that its nice sculpt.
Yusha how ever looks great also as sculpt but then again he is demon and not human.
I like how in the Grey Pilgrims concept she is covered up and has a nice face.
Yet the actual miniature is practically an inch away from being topless and that head looks pretty bad.
In short, concept is great … miniature is just bad.
The face on the Grey Pilgrim I can cope with, her chest just seems to be there to attract teenage boys!
Yusha on the other hand, I might just by him to paint.
I bought her anyway. Electrify looks like it could be fun.
