More cheese for you. Please read the ruling of hammerhand. It’s different from all other strength boni, it’s (Str 4 + Hammerhand 1)x2 = final strength 10.
woops nevermind ^^. I’m sorry ;).
ooo this guy sounds fun!
This guy is cool.
His terminators have the stealth special rule… or maybe not. It’s not listed in the special rules, but in the unit description. I think RAI is, they’ve got stealth ;).
What do you say about this:
Mordrak + ghost knights + librarian with summoning ( and others)
turn 1: 25-35 terminators wherever you want. ( don’t know 100% if you can use the power when he comes down, if not well… turn 2, still a great asault option)
question; can you attach a librarian to him and use the first round deep strike rule?
Only if you take Ghost Knights. You have to have more than JUST Mordrak in order to attach an IC to the unit. Nobody has really talked about Mordrak too much because its agreed he is a solid character. But there are a few things to remember. Mordrak is a GM, he has an Iron Halo to make things easier, but he still weak against massed ranged attacks. Ghost Knights are odd. You kit out the first 5, but that’s where it ends. Any new Ghost Knights brought in come in with basic stuff, and none of the upgrades you… Read more »
It’s very unlikely that Mordrak will die before many of his buddies. Sure, if there’s only him and one other terminator it could happen. But, if there is still a reasonable number of terminators left, you just don’t allocate the ID wounds to him.
I mean, he’s got four wounds so the odds of him dieing aren’t very good.
I see only one problem with Mordrak. To use his ability to get more Knights on the table you have to buy more terminators, which you probably won’t be able to use if you aren’t useing Mordrak, enless you’re going for all terminator army. Now I would buy Draigo jus because it’s a nice model and probably use him as ordinary Grand Master.
are the ghost knights troops or a bodyguard or what? Do they take up a force organisation slot?
they become a unit with mordrak son they are kind of a bodyguard ,they only give up 1 KP when mordrak dies ( because if he dies no matter how many GK are there the unit disappears, and if he doesen’t die the unit is sitll there so no KP for the enemy 😀 ) Making them troops… with grand strategy you can make them capture an objective ( but not count as troops for any other matter i.e. Spearhead mission) * Spearhead mission: allows you to deploy 1HQ + 2 Troops. PD: still don’t know if bibliotecary can use… Read more »
Any one have an good ideas on what model to use/proxy for GM Mordrak? I’d like something I could a Daemon Hammer too.
Bah, my typing sucks and there is no edit function on the forum… read before posting 🙂 Let me try again:
Does any one have any good ideas on what model to use/proxy for GM Mordrak? I’d like something I could equip with a Daemon Hammer if possible.
I would just use the justicar from the terminator box set. Add some bits and bobs to make him look a little cooler, but that model is already fantastic and you can easily make him WYSIWYG.
He doesn’t sound that bad at all. It’s a shame there wasn’t a model released for him.
