Atlantis Add Royalty & Critters To Wood Elf Kickstarter
May 28, 2019 by brennon
Atlantis Miniatures has added a few new awesome add-ons and stretch goals into the mix for their new Wood Elf Kickstarter. We start with the new Prince and Princess.
Both the Elf Prince and the Elf Princess are included as stretch goal additions to the main pledge so you will immediately get access to these if you pledged for that core set.
They are both looking fantastic and I really like the addition of the different animal companions. Whilst I would normally have a problem with 'foot on rock' I think here it really adds to their commanding presence. I am so very tempted to dive in on this one and use this for the basis of an awesome new Wood Elf Fantasy force.
This was magnified once more by the addition of the Elf Warlord too who would be a fantastic mounted leader for your force.
A selection of different mounted options have also been unlocked for the Kickstarter too so this Elk Warlord could ride along Deer and Stag Riders, mirroring their male and female warriors. This certainly opens up the options for a cool skirmishing force.
Lastly, I wanted to look at an add-on which isn't quite as linked to the idea of a battlefield force. Check out these critters!
This set gives you a range of different animals that could be included on the bases of some of your characters or perhaps as a unit of their own. I could certainly see the Wood Elves calling forth these animals to charge out of the undergrowth and bring their enemies down.
There are lots of cool offerings as part of this Kickstarter so get stuck in!

I operate a don’t ask don’t tell policy
Wish there were more animal-only KS. I have *plenty* of elves.
Shipping to USA doubles the price ($15 to $30), but UK shipping is only £5.
So, if you’re UK, support your local KS!
