So let’s have a look at what we can do with those few options.

Create fire so we now have a fireball near our magic caster.  So he/she now has a little “lamp” that follows them around.

What can we do with it?

We can cast movement on it twice so it moves 12” and illuminates an area – helpful in night games.  We could still on a later turn then use it to attack an enemy unit.

Or we could grow it several times and then launch it at an enemy unit allowing us to create a single huge powerful fireball.

Or we could cast multiply on it twice and have four level 1 fireballs and fire those at the same unit or different units or fire some of them at enemy units and use the others to illuminate areas of the map.

Or we could grow it several times and then multiply it once and have two larger fireballs.

If instead we choose to create Earth, we can create an Level 1 amount of Earth, either to act as cover or something else e.g. a bridge.

We can create an amount of Earth and grow it twice to in front of unit to block line of sight.

We can create an amount of Earth and then grow it large enough to fit underneath a unit to give them height.

We can create an amount of Earth to drop on another unit and squash them

Or on combining – can create level 1 Water then create level 1 Lightning and then combine and then move it 18″ (3 moves) to hit an enemy unit with a combined damage greater than the sum of its parts
