Update: Wave 2 Ships for Darkstar
Update to “Wave Two” Warships and Factions for Darkstar:
Apologies, all … but a series of commitments last week prevented me from devoting the full amount of “firepower” this new release deserves. Please rest assured that this new “Wave Two” release of Warships and Factions is now started, and I hope to get it out sometime next week.
Materials in the new .pdf will include:
Warships for four new factions
- New Roman Alliance
- Panasian Union
- Arab League
- Indian Republic
Including:
- Ship rosters
- Historical writeups
- Warship Record sheets
Each faction will ghave five warship classes presented, for twenty ships total.
Also:
Ten new warship classes spread across the six factions already presented (United States, United Kingdom, Imperial Prussia, Japan, Holy Russian Empire, Corporate Consortium)
So that’s 30 warship classes total!
The .pdf will be made available free of charge here on Beasts of War, just like the original release was back in December.
Weekend wargames of Darkstar are available to anyone on line, al always. Just contact me via PM if you’re ever interested.

No worries at all, @rasmus . A lot going on at the moment. Sword Beach for D-Day 75th, possibly Car Wars, wrapping up Falklands, etc.

That’s some serious short range firepower she’s got there.
Can’t wait to see the rest.
Panasian and Russian ships. Always try to engage at a distance. Their weapons are less accurate past 1000 km or so, and they hit HIDEOUSLY hard at close range.
I’m going to have to make a trip to the ‘Ink Station’ and buy so more cartridges to print up Wave 2.

Hopefully it won’t be that bad, @templar007 – 30 classes of warships (some of them two-page battleships), plus write ups and a title page and a cover, less than 70 pages total. 😀
The Shanxi is a close range beast!
Need some gunnery upgrades before I tackle one of them.
You know this, @damon ! Panasian League likes those plasma projectors – and of course hails of close-range torpedoes.
Typical Panasian League player:
“Wot do you mean I need a 2 or less to hit with my Class IIs? Oh well, guess it’s good I have FIFTY of ’em comin’ at yo’ FACE!”
