Tabula Games Take Us Into The Eerie World Of Icaion
May 23, 2019 by brennon
Tabula Games are back on Kickstarter with a new game set within the world of Mysthea. Welcome to Icaion.
This two-to-five player resource management game has you looking to searching for artefacts out in the cold and barren wastelands as one of the Seekers. All the time you'll be looking to avoid the terrifying Ancient Colossus which is spreading its vile infestation across the world.
You'll not only have to balance the growth of your small group but also dealing with the infestation. Make sure you try and stop it from getting to critical mass whilst also completing your own missions.
Main Kickstarter Pledge
You can check out what comes as part of the main pledge for the game here...
The one thing I was immediately stunned by was the beautiful artwork for this game. I am absolutely in love with the artwork for the different characters and the world that they've created here, first made popular with the Mysthea game. As well as telling its own story, Icaion is also the second chapter in an ongoing story which hopes to develop and open this world to more people.
Stretch Goals & Video Preview
As with any good Kickstarter campaign the game also features a wealth of different Stretch Goals for you to get stuck into.
If the game has caught your eye then you might want to delve in and watch some of the videos on it. This should then give you a good idea as to whether or not the game is going to be for you. The preview below is from Rahdo and gives you an outline of the gameplay you can expect.
Make sure to let us know what you think of the game and world below and if you're going to be backing this one!
