Scale75 Bring World War II Chibi Heroes To Life
May 21, 2019 by brennon
Scale75 have brought their own brand of chibi to life in some new World War II miniatures. Two new heroes, an American and a German, have been added to their webstore and we start with Rocky "Star" Cooper.
Rocky looks like your typical tank ace, with a dashingly perfect moustache and the look of someone who is ready to stick to the Nazis at a moments notice. You could imagine him posing, thumbs up, before his tank.
We also have the insidious looking Otto Von Lokimerg who has no doubt faced Rocky across the battlefield before in deadly tank battles.
I do like the addition of the skull onto the hat of Otto here, a nice reminder of the very famous Mitchell & Webb sketch.
As well as being available on their own the pair also come with options to be paired with either a US Tank...
...and a German Tank. So, you can actually make some pretty awesome dioramas using these fellows.
As a fun alternative present for someone who probably has everything they'd ever need for World War II, I could see these being a good shout. I'm sure they'd enjoy painting something that wasn't quite so realistic for a change!
What do you make of these two chibi models?

Cute Nazis? Wow.
It does seem to be in poor taste…
Lol they look brilliant an like extras from a Gerry Anderson show.
Well this is unexpected. WW2 chibi style.
This, I think, is where the boundary is being crossed.
