About the Project
Inspired by the Beasts of War crew. I am re basing my old Chaos army on round bases. Starting with a cavalry unit. Then on wards and upwards! SAGA and Warlords of Erehwon and possibly AoS. Im not sure if i want to do the mwtal Chaos Warriors or my scratch built budget chaos warriors.

painting and adding basing material to the base.
So I started out with Valejo German Grey and Valejo White. I drybrushed up about 4 shades, Adding more white until it was almost pure white. I then did a brown wash over the sand(dirt). afterwards I did dabs of watered down GW Moot Green. Next I added the Fall leaves from The Greenstuff Company. Then I added some green growth in random spots, These bases are based off of Waren’s bases that started this Spring Cleaning contest. i hope everyone likes how these came out. Now on to painting the models. Some simple touch ups and some washes and ill call these done.
Base time.
First the new bases. I picked up some oval bases at my local game store. Next i got some sculpy and rolled it out to a 1/16th or so inch thickness. I then busted out my shiny new yextured roller! Wooooohoooo!!! sorry. i really like it. Rolled out the texture on the sculpy and baked it. I then glued it to the base. Adding some sand. Trimmed up the sides of the bases. Next is primer. bases are ready for paint.
