Orcs, Ogres, & Adventurers Take Form On First Legion’s Kickstarter

Fantasy First Legion have gone to Kickstarter to launch their new range of fantasy 28mm heroic miniatures.

In the past, First Legion have created some particularly high quality 40-90mm collectable models. These are perfect for painters, but this new Kickstarter marks their first foray into the gaming market.

From the miniatures that have already appeared, and seeing how First Legion have taken them from the initial concept stage to the final sculpt, it looks like they are doing a good job at carrying the quality over to the smaller scale.

The models are then finished in high quality, vacuum cast resin, creating figures usable in games such as D&D, Pathfinder, and so on.

The models we're seeing here are absolutely beautiful, the sort that you might want to take your time painting to do them justice.

The sculpts are generally excellent and the level of detail makes for some extremely eye-catching models. I would love to use one of these as a character for an RPG myself.
