Warlord Games Preview New Konflikt ’47 Battle Walker
May 16, 2019 by cassn
Warlord Games have released new preview pictures of the latest Walker to stride into the fray of Konflikt '47. Designed for strength and endurance, the Japanese Locust Medium Battle Walker is a fierce opponent to any light tanks opposing the Japanese Imperial Army!
The Japanese Locust Medium Battle Walker is a behemoth of walker engineering, providing considerable fire support, autocannon fire, and a 75mm anti-tank gun making it a credible contender as a tank hunter. This walker is also adapted to handling dense and rough terrain, with its cutters and saws acting as good tools for clearing the road ahead.
The Japanese Locust Medium Battle Walker will be available from 25th May 2019 through the Warlord Games website.
Will this Walker be strutting his stuff on your tabletop? Let us know what you think!
not the best thing to see coming out of the jungle towards you.
That is really nice.
I don’t know… It’s just the German one with a different gun – which doesn’t bother me. But the way that gun is mounted. How does it reload? Where does it recoil? Just kind of an odd design.
That because the Germans sell it to the Japanese. However, the differences are the hands, shoulder guards, and the Japanese one has no jump jets on the back.
Both Japanese and German variants have a rocket launcher or AT gun option. If you’ve mastered gravity guns and battle walkers, an auto-loader shouldn’t be rocket surgery.
It’s not a BAD look. I spotted the differences between them and I think I like this design more. But lets be real here, early auto loaders were notoriously complicated and took up a huge amount of space. Not to mention they weren’t even available in that time period, if I’m not mistaken. Some turreted takes could only turn roughly 10° because of how cumbersome they were. Rocket surgery, no. But they don’t have things like composite armor, which isn’t rocket surgery either.
Hmm… Mecha, me like… STOMP STOMP STOMP
