Assuming this is the Dark Age Outpost we are talking about:

Dark Age Outpost funded to the tune of USD 93k in 2015, and was successful in that way. The project was for hard plastic HIPS timber fort-style terrain.

No product has been delivered, but prototypes have been shown so there has been done work and it is not a scam.

However, there has been a number of shenanigans, accusations by the creator of theft and embezzlement done by his business partner, and the factory holding the molds to ransom demanding ever more money. You can see the creators side of this by readnig the updates on kickstarter.

I am not a backer, and I have not followed this very closely, it seems to be a tragedy for the creator who is out of money with no product i hand to show for it. The latest update states:

“Factory hasn’t responded since the last update. Still playing games I guess, and can’t trust them anyway.

I’m done, I can’t do it anymore. I need to move on. The daily hate mail has taken a toll on me. My deepest apologies to everyone for this 3+ year long hell. This whole thing has been truly soul crushing.

Focusing on my handmade games and moving on.”

So it seems the creator is washing his hand of this, and the project is officially dead, undelivered. All funds are lost.
