Guild Ball Kicks-Off It’s Final Day On Kickstarter!
March 22, 2014 by brennon
Guild Ball are closing in on the final hours of their Kickstarter for their amazing fantasy football game. Below we have a few more of their fantastic pieces of art and of course a run down of the teams on offer for you to pick up.
First up we have these three lovely people. Above is Tower, Avarisse & Greede and Hemlocke who will be joining the Masons and the Union as they take to the pitch and start kicking balls around. The one thing I love about some of these models is that you could very easily use them for games away from Guild Ball. Once you're done on the pitch maybe you could use them for role-playing too!
Also if you ever wanted to know what the teams were like and which ones you should be picking up we've included the official run down of each of them above. I think my personal favourites have to be the Brewers and the Masons although the Butchers come in a close third!
Head over and get pledging as this enters it's final few hours!
Which team is your favourite?

I really, really like where this is going! I’m going to have a lot of trouble choosing which of the teams are going to fill my 4team pledge…
Unless of course I find some extra money…
Not going to write another mini-essay on this again (see previous comments!). In short; amazing looking minis, great looking game and awesome creators – ’nuff said. @brothergrey – know exactly what you mean. Am currently looking at 6 teams (with the 7th free but I will probably have to drop down for the initial pledge and just add stuff with the pledge manager at a later date. Definitely want the Butchers and Fisherman for that classic Gangs of New York vibe that dragged me in. After that maybe Brewers and Mason’s I think. The trouble is that Russ’s sculpts will… Read more »
@brothergrey – yep I’m hitting ebay to get as much up as I can before the finish this avo…such fun!
I ended up backing this after your last Weekender special. A friend and I played a 3v3 game last night with the quickstart rules, and it just confirmed that it is great game. We found a lot of Malifaux and Warmachine (and even Hell Dorado) influences in the design which we think is great.
I can’t wait till december!
But…
In the meantime I can always start to spread a Guildball pandemic among my friends!
There’s indeed enough depth in the quick start rules to get going with this game!
Man, how I wish this had been a skirmish game. I would have been in like stink. The Guild themes, models and concept art are fantastic.
@man o war they confirmed that a skirmish game will be developed further down the line, set in the world.
Glad I backed it, very happy I backed it. Looking forward to December – just need to decide on guilds. 4 to choose – think butchers and morticians are a given – the other 2 not sure on.
Fishermen and Masons for me. Who doesn’t want a monkey and a seal as mascots?
