@mage Steel Phalanx is Aleph’s mailed fist, the force built to engage the Combined Army toe-to-toe and inspire the nations of the Human Sphere to say that the EI can be resisted. Personally as a bit of myth & legend nut I love how they’ve incorporated the heroes of the Trojan War. I do rather hope we get some more named Homeride though – Paris and Odysseus are surely no-brainers (and of course will have to look like Orlando Bloom & Sean Bean), but given we now have Perseus the Rogue Myrmidon, I wonder is there scope for an Aleph twist on Jason and the Argonaughts? Perhaps that is the ASS’s Heavy Infantry unit that gets the same armour as Achilles 2.0 & Hector? And yeah, I did pick up a fair bit of Combined a few years ago that I must get painted up:
Still quite proud of how this Umbra came out….
(I was trying for a bit of a Clone Wars Jedi-vibe. The CA range looks so sinister I’m really intrigued to see if I can make them look heroic)
And I was having a root around as someone in another forum mentioned how my Knights did look a tad plain with with those big blocks of colour but no insignia, so dug up my bag of GW decals. I’ve got the two Knight sheets that came in the Renegade boxed game, but I’d forgotten some of these other sheets:
Some of these could be useful for adding flavourful battle honours to the Knights of House Mortan….
