Albedo Protesters & Critter Conversions From Sally 4th
May 6, 2019 by brennon
Sally 4th continue to build up their Albedo Combat Patrol range with two new sets. These kits allow you to build Protesters that have taken to the streets with both Male and Female options.
Here you can see they've designed three characters representing the different races from the Albedo world. You could imagine them trying to fight against the establishment and with the Female set you've also got a good mix to make it feel 'realistic'.
For those looking to try and expand their Albedo collection to make it more narrative, these are a fun new option. Anything that brings more animal characters to the tabletop is great in my book!
Critter Conversions
As well as these new Protester packs we also have three new Critter Conversion kits from the team at Sally 4th.
You can the different heads presented above giving you options for a Bareheaded Mouse, Helmeted Mouse and Hooded Mouse. This means you can introduce these into the mix alongside some of the existing plastic and metal kits out there to turn any collection into an anthropomorphic warband.
What do you make of the new creatures?

I saw these critter conversion kits in Sally 4th’s newsletter. They are quite neat but not sure they are worth the effort given the amount of quality animal miniatures there are on the market at the moment. Nice to see innovations like this though.
Very true – cool that you could mix this with the Frostgrave sets from North Star though and have some cool animal adventurers out of that 🙂
Hi Robert, you are right. There are lots of lovely anthropomorphic fantasy miniatures out there. The attraction of the Critter Conversion Kits is that you can combine them with the huge amount of multipart plastic kits from Frostgrave, Fireforge, Victrix, Perry Miniatures etc. to make a miniature with exactly the weapon, armor, species etc you want. You may be able to get a couple of Otter Mages already, but if you want an Otter Mage holding a crystal ball in left hand reading from a scroll held in right hand combining plastic Frostgrave wizard parts with animal heads and tails… Read more »
Those are both nice and innovative.
