Fancy struck me and I got myself the Leopard 2 Panzerzug for Team Yankee last week. As a proof of concept of sorts, I painted a HQ-tank. I want to get my Leos as accurate as possible, one major element of which is the camouflage pattern, which is exactly the same on all Leos of the Bundeswehr. Also, I want to dirty them up, but not in an over the top-way, and I also add antennas. Fortunately – unlike with many WW2 tanks, there’s photographic reference galore for these mid-1980s kitties.

That is some gorgeous, smooth amd subtle painting right there. Im not too into historics but I can appreciate a good tank of any… stripe 😉

A really beautiful paint job there.  A great looking tank.  Love the camo.

Great work, and I like the added antennae.  😀  I tried something similar with my Zvezda ZSU-23-4 Shilka, but I think yours came out better.  😀
