Differentiating the mites
one of the non-Gaw models I am trying to incorporate in my army are these Shadows of Brimstone Magma mites/Fiends. They are interesting models, have potential for Levy in Saga, but i was annoyed that they just had 1 sculpt for all 12.
To try and address this, I pulled out my hobby saw, and decided to try and adjust the height of 7 of 12 of them. I did this by cutting the magma “drips, and either shortening them by removing sections, or lengthening them with paper clips. Any gaps to be smoothed over later with green stuff.
even though they are still one pose, the different heights will break up the unit somewhat, and make it look less “Same”
other ideas for adding variety are welcome.
