Raging Heroes Unleash Holy Justice With Latest Army
May 2, 2019 by cassn
The guys over at Raging Heroes have unleashed their all-female army of righteous redeemers onto the tabletop, and they're ready to deliver holy hell to their enemies!
The Crimson Redeemers are packing some incredibly cool weaponry, and enough skulls to host Día de Muertos all year long!
The posing on these figures incredibly dynamic - these lord-loving ladies are a terrifying sight for anyone opposed to them on the battlefield.
The Troop and Command groups both feature five unique Crusader Sisters. My personal favourite is Semariel Iron Hand, who I imagine is blindly firing into the air while looking you directly in the eye. That's a serious power move.
These godly gals will never be perfect for pedants like myself (boob-armor anyone?) but I've seen a lot of the Raging Heroes Toughest Girls of the Galaxy and these are easily my favourite.
Each saintly sister is finely crafted in resin, supplied with a 25mm round base and scaled in 30mm Heroic to fit in with most wargames.
Raging Heroes currently have a special new release price for the whole army, so head over and check out these Crusading chicks now!

Those look really stunning.
When you have an armory making armor strictly for the Ladies, why would you have them crush the girls? Gee, I’m sure GW will “correct” this problem with their forthcoming newly sculpted Sisters of Battle. Sarcasm aside, isn’t boob armor better than no armor. Or should they carve them off as the Amazons were alleged to do?
Why do they need to crush anything? Women have just worn normal armor for a very long time and although I don’t mean to speak for all womankind here, I don’t think enclosing each boob in it’s own private metal casing makes us any more comfortable. Not to mention one wrong hit would break the sternum.
As for ‘boob armour is better than no armor’ – In a world where these women have giant, detailed guns and super cool swords, it really shouldn’t be a bad or nothing scenario, should it?
To be fair while boob plates are cliche I have seen both arguments for and against those from people that focus on medieval weapons and armor in Youtube with both sides having made valid points. Still normal armor does work well for women as well so reason why boob plates are thing in fiction has nothing do with are they practical or not but visual reasons. Oh and based on what we have seen from GW’s previews those are still going to be thing with upcoming new SoB models.
I apologize if I offended. That was never my intent. My point is that they could have t-shirts (or chain mail bikinis) instead of protective chest plates. Who knows what form body armor will have in 38000 years. Maybe Frank Herbert had it more correctly with body shields. Medieval and modern armor was/is made mostly for men. The fact is, that these renders are for one inch tall toy soldiers marketed mainly to adolescent males, so they have to be differentiated from, say, Space Marines, by overt, secondary sexual characteristics. Talk to the sculptors, designers and marketers when they’re next… Read more »
You need only look at GW’s recent Kommissar that didn’t have overt female armour or characteristics to see what a difference boob turrets and body shape have. Their recent model, applauded for its realism, looked like an androgynous teen at best. They’re not overdone, and my missus is happy with them, so that is the acid test for me. Just like men want big beefy characters, women want attractive models to represent their characters on the tabletop. She’s not entirely happy with the stiletto’s, but will admit it is another distinctly feminine feature, and they’re easily filed off so the… Read more »
In the grim darkness of the far future there are only D cups.
As you can expect from Raging Heroes. At this point it’s really they trademark.
It is a shame really, as Semariel Iron Hand clearly demonstrates that these models don’t need boob armour or large chests to appear both grimdark and feminine.
Yeah, but they look amazing and badass. So, boob plate and stilettos all the way, and let the neo-puritans sulk in their misery.
If it wasn’t for the the “high” heeled boots, you wouldn’t be able to tell that miniature was female at all.
And this day and age, your choice of foot wear can hardly be used to judge gender.
and ‘scream. i-scream.
hmmmm… delicious.
Unimginative, incoherent, and boring. The technical execution of the digital sculpting is the sole redeeming part…
Their fantasy Kickstarter is until today the one Kickstarter I regret backing the most. The quality of the resin was incredibly bad (brittle, oily), tiny, tiny parts with huge gates/vents that you could hardly get off the sprues, delivery took ages, communication was not good either … they’ll never see another cent from me.
Sorry you’ve had trouble @nightofthedinnertable. My partner has a lot of their metal figures, and they’ve all been top notch.
My missus is big on the fantasy versions of these for an all female religious order in our game world. She likes the armour, as the figures can be identified as female at a distance. She’ll be getting a command group of 15 infantry models, and probably a dozen or more of the mounted paladins.
Personally, I don’t see a problem with these either. They’re not wearing chainmail bikini’s, and as someone already mentioned, they’re inch tall models. Probably the wrong place to try to score points as a feminist.
This has always been my take on the whole “issue”, as well.
If I cant see difference between male and female miniatures at regular gaming distances, or from across the table, then as far I am concerned there is a problem.
Nice alternative to the sisters but I don’t think they can mix with other manufactures figures
