Warlord Games Prepare For Bolt Action’s Longest Day
April 29, 2019 by brennon
Warlord Games is preparing for the approach of the D-Day anniversary with a new Bolt Action set, The Longest Day.
We don't know much more about the set right now but it looks like it's going to bring a whole bunch of both American and German troops to the tabletop for those looking to play out those gruelling battles on the beaches of Normandy.
This should prove to be an interesting set and what hopefully amounts to a very asymmetrical fight on the tabletop. The iconic scene from Saving Private Ryan has been used in video games and all sorts and I'm sure that it will also be just as thrilling and tense on the tabletop too.
Will you be snapping this up when it releases?
"This should prove to be an interesting set and what hopefully amounts to a very asymmetrical fight on the tabletop..."
Sounds good.
I would love to see something like this to other allied forces as well considering that Americans weren’t only ones assaulting Normandy and Omaha Beach wasn’t only part that was being assaulted. Because of Hollywood people tend to forget that and think that it was only Americans.
Looks good, will be thinking about picking it up.
Hmmmm, this could be the set that finally gets me to take the plunge into bolt action
Looks like its up on their site now
