Go Hunting Witches With Artel’s Grimdark Gretel

Artel W Miniatures has shared another preview of what's coming for their Grimdark range. This time around we're hunting witches with Gretel von Schwarzwald.
Armed with a cruel looking scythe, hefty sword and enough guns to send her foes back to the grave this take on Gretel shows that you shouldn't lock kids up in ovens. They tend to come back and seek revenge!
Whilst I would have perhaps avoided the 'boob window' I think that overall this would be a great miniature for those looking to add more characters into their Inquisitorial retinue. With Wrath & Glory now a new experience for those looking to role-play in Warhammer 40,000 she could work out as a neat player character.
Also, as Sisters Of Battle are on the horizon could she maybe also find her way into a position of power within that army? The way she has been styled she would work in both a Fantasy and Sci-Fi context too I reckon.

No “Pec window” for Hansel?
The closest image to possibly sculpt is many a cover for romance novels… lol. Foundry Miniatures cast a set of Revanent Elves years ago on license from Warmonger Miniatures. The model Eluthne fit the bill but I don’t think undead elves with rose covered swords quite fits the modern grimdark motif.

And the “boob window” has forever changed my memories of watching Playschool…
I live their range but its a pain to try and get through their site. In the past Internet Explorer has been the way to go as Firefox didn’t give the scroll function over their images. Now it seems that has broken somehow. **Shrug** I’ll see what I can see and look around for other things they’ve made.
