It was a bit of a slog, but I finally finished (minus a gloss coat -maybe) the Kill Team Death World Forest.

This is all of it with 3 pieces from the Kill Team Deathwatch box set.  I used various Citadel and Reaper paints on it with Citadel washes, inks and dry brush paints.

for the most part I kept with the colors presented on the box art and booklet.  I had done the Barbed Venomgorse before so went with the same colors for the most part.  The Ruins were(IIRC) Reaper Cloudy Grey with a Nuln Oil wash and then a drybrush of Citadel Dawnstone.

The Grappleweed stumped me for a while but I ended up going for a fleshly look on the flower.  On the outside Using Citadel Screamer Pink, a wash of Magenta Ink (Citadel) and a dry brush of Changling Pink (Citadel), the inside was Bugman’s Glow (Citadel) and Reikland Fleshshade (Citadel)wash with spikes being Gore Red (Citadel) the whole thing was primered in Deathguard green and I used Brown Ink (Citadel) for the Trunk and Reaper Pure Black for the spines with a Nuln Oil coat over the spines.

I experimented with rattle cans on the Shardwrack Spine. Spray painting green first then an overspray of red. I like how it came out.  Just added a wash of Athonian Camoshade on the green base.  That’s when I noticed the skulls so did those up in Reaper Aged Bone and wash of Nuln Oil.  I was about done but felt like Something was missing.  Found some Citadel Dry brush paint Lucius Lilac that I used for the boils.

It took longer than I anticipated, but glad it’s done.  Next up is Sly Marbo. My FLGS had one on the Shelf and I figure with Kill Team Elites coming out he might make an appearance besides he’ll go well in the DeathWorld Forrest scene.
