Looking at the larger steering oar I realised it would sit to tall for a poor little duck to handle. So I decided to build a platform to raise the steersman up. I have mainly used GW skeleton spear shafts and carved sprue. The side oars in place,  now need to bind them to Rowlocks with cotton which I will then soak in Super Glue to add much needed strength.The side oars in place, now need to bind them to Rowlocks with cotton which I will then soak in Super Glue to add much needed strength.
