Plan Your Middle-earth Campaign With GW’s Downloads
April 26, 2019 by dracs
This Saturday will see the return of the Battle Companies rules for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game. To make it easier to dive into the new skirmish rules, Games Workshop are providing downloadable versions of the campaign map and roster sheets.
These downloads provide you with easily printable copies, so you don't have to struggle with the photocopier every time you want to start a new campaign.
I have to say that I am extremely excited for the new Battle Companies book. It was a bit odd that Games Workshop released the latest Middle-earth rules so soon after the previous Battle Companies book, leaving it outdated before it had barely begun.
I'm hoping that these skirmish rules will provide me with the means to get others in the office to give the game a go. The great thing about skirmish campaigns is that you really get the chance to shape characters and watch as new heroes develop organically.
You can find both of the download links at Warhammer Community.
Which Battle Company are you planning to field?

Really pleased with the continuing support for lord of the rings, picked up the big box last year, keep meaning to get back to it, sadly I’m a rubbish unproductive hobbyist . . . But in the meantime I really want to pick up some of the huge trolls!!
I picked up my set this year from this amazing shop in the North of Ireland. A great game and a wonderful shop full of friendly people and great games!
I need to pick this up. It looks like rather than just a re-hash of the last version they have added some new, great ideas.
looks good.
I was looking into this game, and finally gave in and bought the previous version of Battle Companies… only a couple weeks before they announced this new version. Looks like I’ll have to pony up some more cash, cause I really like the look of this game.
Glad to see GW do something like this.
