A Dark Elf Beastmaster Cracks Her Whip At Avatars of War
April 26, 2019 by dracs
Avatars of War have released a new Dark Elf Beastmaster to help keep your tabletop monsters under control.
As you would expect from a Dark Elf, there is something very vicious about this figure. Both her jagged whip and her odd-looking bident speak of quite a bit of cruelty.
She looks ready to handle the ferocious monsters favoured by Dark Elf forces. After all, everyone knows that clothing hinders your ability to train animals.
However, I have to say that I am not overly impressed with this figure. The stance is something I find very off-putting. While her whip curls about her in a way that frames the figure nicely, both her arms are thrown back, while she stands in a bow-legged pose that looks like she's practicing a kung fu horse stance.
Who's going to be the first to make a "breastmaster" joke?
Damn it, it's me.

I find it rather titillating…..
Prepared for anything except the cold. Get your big coat on or you’ll catch your death …
The stance is to keep her loin cloth from sliding down around her ankles.
That is good looking miniature.
Avatars of War are still going?
She seems very third edition Dark Eldar Wych to me.
