Send Your Models To The Skies On Litko’s Bird Mounts
April 24, 2019 by dracs
Litko have released a new selection of character mounts, this time raising your figures over the battlefield on the backs of mighty birds.
These acrylic mounts seem to straddle the line between miniature and token. They are obviously not as detailed or as striking as a regular miniature might be. However, they do allow you to mount your miniatures without having to resort to buying new models or using proxies.
All in all, I really like these. They may not have quite the same cinematic appeal as a miniature, but they are more versatile and should be a great help for plenty of fantasy gamers. After all, what would you do without eagles to save you on the final turn?
Would you use a set like these, or do you prefer to stick to proper miniatures?

I hope they extend the concept to more fatasy looking flying mounts. Seems great for ading the flying mount option to SAGA age of Magic units
Neat to see more accessories coming out from them. That reminds me to pick up some more movement trays.
If I want ’em boyz in the air I putz ’em in a ‘uge lobba an’ den the grotz pull the lever…. FIRE!
