Battle at Boards & Swords in Derby
The other week on Sunday 8th April I played my first game of Mortal Gods at Boards and Swords Hobbies in Derby. BASH is a great, friendly shop with lots of gaming tables and they were having a launch day for Mortal Gods.
I have to say it was a very enjoyable day made even better by winning my first game playing. I love the rules as they are fast and easy to pick up, especially if you have played Test of Honour before. But they are different too and its the difference that makes Mortal Gods that much better in my opinion.
It is a simple wargame but it is the unit abilities which is on the cards that make this game and the way it makes the Heroes feel well like heroes. i am looking forward to playing more games.
