Pre-Order A Dark & Bloody Ground Black Powder Supplement
April 18, 2019 by brennon
Warlord Games has announced that a new supplement is coming your way for Black Powder tomorrow as pre-orders begin for A Dark & Bloody Ground.
More details will no doubt be forthcoming about this particular supplement from Warlord Games over the coming days but it's neat to see them expanding beyond the Napoleonic and into a different theatre of war. The French & Indian War is a very interesting conflict that we've explored in articles before.
You can find one series of articles HERE as we looked at playing games using Muskets & Tomahawks. It's well worth delving into as it covers not only a range of interesting characters but various battles and more.
I am looking forward to perhaps some new models with the release of this supplement too!
A Teaser Of Things To Come
As well as the news about A Dark & Bloody Ground we also saw a teaser this week from Warlord Games for something Roman...
Something gladiatorial perhaps? Maybe a tweak to Hail Caesar in some format? We shall have to wait and see.
Will you be giving this a go?

had a flick through a prototype of this book at salute. Looks good.
can you share a bit more what’s in it?
Replying to myself now that the description is available on warlord’s website. Definitively looking like a thing I want.
Currently very tempted to get it and use it with M&T.
I’ve been slowly building up my collection of rules and miniatures for some American Revolution Era battles.
I think this new supplement from Warlord Games is going to find a place in my collection.
Some will say that the French and Indian War was before and separate from the American Revolution, and their right that it happened before the American War of Independence. But the French and Indian War and it’s cost was the reason the British started taxing the colonies. So starting with this book will lead nicely into the War of Independence.
