Avatars Of War’s New Statue Honours Their Dwarven Ancestors
April 10, 2019 by brennon
Avatars Of War has added another new 3D printing project into their library for you to check out. This time around they are honouring their ancestors with this massive Dwarf King Statue.
This new file download has been designed so that you can print it on your one at home without the need for complicated structures and supports. The proof is in the pudding of course but considering the example here I think it looks rather cool!
The statue is designed for 28mm wargaming but you can rescale this if you like. I think it's an awesome piece of terrain which would be great set at the front of a Dwarven hold. I love all of the destruction and ageing worked into the piece too, giving you an idea of just how old this is.
Will you be trying to print this out?

Destruction and weathering? Bah, must be shoddy manning work – no true dwarfcraft would show such flaws!

A very Lordy Lordy dwarf.
That looks very nice.
Shiny!
Print two, but one as a mirror image. Big door in between and blend it into a mountain side so they look like they are craved out of it.
Really nice piece…. really nice idea
I love it. Now that’s a worthy ancestor for those dwarven halls.
