Perry Announce New Napoleonic French Line Infantry
April 8, 2019 by brennon
Perry Miniatures has announced that a new plastic kit is on the way for Napoleonic French Line Infantry. Some rather fancy looking 3-Ups were revealed at Salute this year and the team even painted up some of them.
The collection will come with a massive amount of options for those who love their customisation and you'll find they work very well for armies fielded between 1807 and 1814.
I picked out a fair few different images from the preview to show off the various options and poses you can achieve with the set.
I am always blown away by how the Perry twins are able to work so much detail and character into their plastic kits. They have a keen eye for detail and not only produce lots of great looking models with the appropriate kit but also heads which allow you to develop very individual looking troops.
No doubt when this comes out you will also have some metal character-based options too, as seems to be the norm with a Perry Miniatures release. It might be the kick some people need to jump right into a new Napoleonic force.
Do you think you're going to be tempted to start up a new French force when this plastic kit lands?

Lovely stuff as usual from the Perry’s.
Ooh man their nice.
I’m glad they’re getting some more dynamic poses like thier British counterparts, instead of just marching like the current set
Those look really good.
Fabulous paint jobs.
Again, simply excellent sculpts from the Perry Twins. Given that these are now poses for a firing line (or skirmishing) these would do perfectly for skirmish gaming (the British infantry are in a similar box set, but sadly not in a marching box set…which makes more sense for rank and file gaming). So with the British and now French coming in Skirmish poses in plastic, you can do some good skirmish games pretty cheaply. I do have the “Combat Patrol” rules from Sally 4th which are mainly designed for WW2, BUT they have modified for use with Horse and Musket.… Read more »
