The Alien Invasion Continues With Brother Vinni
March 10, 2014 by brennon
Brother Vinni's have got another Not-XCOM miniature waiting in the wings with a Not-Sectoid looking to scamper away from your advancing squad of alien hunters and join up mentally with it's fellow psychic brethren.
Despite the fact that it is clearly drawn from the look of the characters from XCOM it is an awesome looking sculpt. If you twin that with the Not-Muton that they did a few weeks ago and then nudge them a bit in the ribs to make a team of soldiers maybe we'll see some people picking them up just because that would make quite the neat XCOM collection.
We do love the computer game, and have been looking for some awesome miniatures too so this is right up our street.
Is he the Alien for you?

If you order from Brother Vinni, be aware that they ship really really really slow.. really..
I think it’s sad that he has to blatantly steal/rip off other peoples design work!

Eh, I disagree. While creativity and originality are to be encouraged, other times it’s okay to give people what they want. If people really want a line of alien minis from X-Com, is every sculptor forbidden from doing so (legal issues aside) until 2K games decide to commission an ‘official’ line, simply because that work isn’t original? Same for Mass Effect. Hell, let’s take that more mainstream – what if the Knight’s miniatures range didn’t exist? Would it be so bad if at least one sculptor put out a 28mm Iron Man mini?
Personally, I say.. no. But YMMV. 🙂
they look really good…. If they release a bit more bad guys, as well as human soldiers, I ll adapt my level 7 omega protocol ^^
