I have seen tutorials of taking just about any miniature and making it into a bronze statue.

However, I am wondering if there are any miniature lines that have stone statues.  I am looking for statues that are larger than a 28mm figure.  I have seen several on other sites including Hirst Arts some nice ones but they are cast from making a mold of an actual metal statue.  Wondering if there any alternatives.  Frostgrave has several scenarios where you need 6 statues.  We have been using a dixie cup and miniature on top to proxy and would like something better.

For several games, most recently Frostgrave, there is a requirement for a dead body marker.  I know I could use a token.  I am wondering about either using a figure and 30mm base and making your own or if someone sells a dead body marker.  I have seen some other Otherworld miniatures that look really good but they are skeletons only.  I was looking either to purchase or make a dead warrior or soldier with a sword as a dead body.   Any suggestions would be welcome

I’ve window shopped the 6 statues too. Either Kromlech or Scibor do some “not 40k” statust, at least one looks like it’d fit (not too techy)

There are plenty of casualty figures in the historical ranges. If you’re using the usual Northstar minis or similar, anything medieval should fit.

Statues – old Lord of Rings chess pieces painted up.  I’ll take pictures tomorrow of them if I remember.

Blood & Plunder have ‘dead body’ / ‘casualty’ markers.

The Aces& Eights kickstarter had flat wooden figures to use as ‘civillians’ and as casualty markers.

I think there was a forum post on the old Beasts of war website were somebody had created dead bodies.

One of the options I keep looking at is gargoyles: https://hexy.store/diorama-scenery/82-gargoyles.html

There is a scale comparison photo with various miniatures from different manufactures a bit down.

Basically, primed black, an overbrush of a dark grey and then i tried to make them look icey and snowy and that they had been in Frostgrave for ever.  I should have put a model to show you the size of them.

@sundancer — thanks for the Link.  Very timely and the price is pretty good.  Thank you.  Even if I do not use this in Frostgrave I plan to use these in my D&D campaign

@somegeezer — your link has a bunch of other options including Knights and wall mounts.  Great stuff.  Looks like a gold mine of terrain trinkets

I did not find any status however these reliefs I am going to use on each side of a doorway that I am building for a specific building.  Good stuff — http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?art=874#i/conversion_parts/big/knight_relief.jpg

@limburger — the Blood and Plunder markers would fit right in with Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago.

Those casualty markers might be what I may end up with.  I did find some STL files to 3D print some markers.  I will see how they come out but good to have another option.  Thanks for the suggestions

You can also always use 54 and 70mm miniatures, there’s loads of variety and price ranges.
