Unboxing: Medieval Lost Burg Kit
April 1, 2019 by dignity
Justin and John look at the first of the Medieval Lost Burg Kits from PWorks.
Compliments to the laser cutter for this kit as the lines are nice and clean. The guys talk about how they might paint terrain like this whether priming on both sides when it is still flat packed or building it first and then picking out the detail you want to put on the finished piece. This is an affordable range from PWorks so there's every possibility can be used to give a great amount of variety to tournament play.
What details would you pick out when painting this kit?
needs to be in 10mm!!
Really nice piece. Great that i found out about this. Again a reason why BoW is so worth it.
Might have a look at this. I was thinking of MDF terrain
Not a bad price for the amount of unpainted MDF you get with the set. There is a lot of really good unpainted MDF out there if you are happy to spend that little bit of extra time painting it.
Nice basic set, and as the lads say can be built to whatever standard you want.
Left with a base paintjob would be a good everyday club use, and looks fairly robust for transport.
Justin totally right about adds to terrain stack, the no of games played with the old Airfix Napleonic Farm house a couple of Railway wooden sheds, a subbuteo cloth and some books shoved under for trees.
As for the question of paint it before or after assembly, I’d say after as that way you can break out the polyfiller or similar material and texturise the walls before painting.
This is a great kit. Great value too for the amount you are getting.
The quality of MDF kits is getting better and better!
Good value considering how much table space those take.
It looks nice and affordable, perfect to try and add to it…
Thanks for the vid guys!
Perfect for Rangers of Shadow Deep…..?
really looking at getting myself one of these sets and just going to town on it would make a great project.
great looking ruins the tower is fabulous as well.
Looks nice, and I guess easy and fast to just spray and have a large set up in short time
Looking good, and would fit in nicely for World War set games.
Looks like prety solid basic terrain.
