Im impress how good it looks. Im going to get it as soon as it is available
Fantastic effect, I wouldn’t mind a couple of brushes. Will look out for the KS.
No need to buy their probably overpriced brushes. These are cosmetic brushes you can get for 50 cent a piece. Also nothing new or different with the technique he uses, though I guess advanced drybrush techniques are somewhat niche.
I was just gonna post that I’ve been using foundation makeup brushes for ages to do this. It’s kinda funny that so many “revolutionary” mini painting techniques are really stuff that traditional painters have known for ages.
I thought makeup brushes as well, HOWEVER I wonder what that medium is that he’s using to aid paint flow?
First gues. Flow improver.
I could be a drying retardant you can buy to stop acrylic paint drying too quickly when on a canvas
Getting my Series M in July, have to grab the Series S and i’m looking interested in these too
nice! will you talk about this again in af weekender ?? so I dont forget the kickstarter xD
I’ll have to try these techniques somewhere
Here’s a better in depth tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHRMnJce4b8&list=PLcdsbwBroEmD2fNEJhcju6PD7qRmoo04Y&index=147&t=0s

Looks interesting; any idea what’s the smallest size brush they do? Think a very small one would be great for adding little details such as graffiti to terrain that would otherwise require an airbrush to get the right look.
That looks like great. Will look out for the kickstarter
Will you remind us please. We old farts tend to forget or just get on with other things
Might have to look into this
Nice, but those brushes are huge and it appears the technique might need the size. How well does it scale down for finer works?
moistening power is that like brush soap? those brushes look like makeup brushes. i would try more drybrushing if it didnt ruin my brushes in the process. i use old ruin brushes for most of my dry brushing that why my result arent that good
Yeah, I’m gonna have to try this…
That’s a process to dry brushing. Would have to see it up close to see if it is that much better than traditional.
i have heard really good things abut this brushes
Seems worth a try, I’ve used cosmetic brushes before, but not tried moistening them before
looks great, i’ll keep my eyes out for the kickstarter
I don’t drybrush, hate the chalk effect. But I would be well up rot this kickstarter.
Interesting, I’ll certainly keep an eye out for that kickstarter… But doesn’t everybody already know this technique? It’s called overbrushing.
This was probably the most informative video and comment thread of the weekend for me.
Not bad, I wanted to get in on their previous kickstarter. Ill definitely do this one.
looks great what about the metallic’s with large particles.
Yeah, maybe… I’m still happy with my dry brushing…
That was amazing. I’ll be adding these to go with my Boomsticks.
